Shed are insulated for a number of reasons, to regulate temperature for heating or cooling, to seal air gaps to prevent air infiltration and to reduce the harmful effects of condensation which leads to damp, mildew and mould not to mention dripping water on crops, animals or humans.

Closed cell spray foam is the industry leading insulation material for most farm sheds, barns and commercial sheds. It has a low uValue ranging from 0.019 to 0.039 Btu/(ft²·h·°F) or 0.11 to 0.22 W/(m²·K) and a high R-value of 1.05 to 1.23 m2 kelvin per watt (m²·K/W) per cm.

Closed cell foam is moisture resistant preventing condensation, damp and mould protecting the structure from water related damage.

Spray is able to completely cover all parts of the metal roof and its supports getting into every nook and cranny creating a continuous airtight seal.
