Roof spray foam insulation
When access to the roof is not possible from the interior of the building, then open cell spray foam insulation can be applied by removing some slates and the foam can be sprayed under the roofing felt.
Spray foam expands to over 200 times its size when applied filling every available gap, this makes it ideal for roof insulation as a few slates can be removed allowing access to the cavity below which can be filling with the foam without removing all the slates.
Spray foam is breathable and allows water vapour to escape preventing harmful damp, mildew and mould to build up.
